What is TRABİS?
TRABİS abbreviation, .tr Network Information System, is a system that covers the management and operation processes of the domain name system and database with the extension ".tr". It ensures that guidance (whois), update (DNS, owner and responsible information, renewal), and instant allocation transactions regarding the system continue securely and continuously. These transactions, previously carried out by Nic.TR, will be under the management of BTK with the activation of TRABİS. However, since TRABİS does not provide direct service to the end user, you need to carry out your transactions regarding domain names with the extension .tr through accredited registrars. All domain names that have not been transferred to any registrars during the closing process of Nic.TR will be transferred to TRABİS.
